Berlin Photo Week 2022 to feature three days of more than 40 workshops

Berlin Photo Week, Sept. 2-4, 2022, is offering a uniquely wide range of photo workshops and photo walks. From beginners to professionals, from the basics to masterclasses, together with leading international stars of the photography scene the German capital will over three days be a creative meeting place of photo enthusiasts.

“In putting together this programme we wanted to steer away from the beaten track, offer professionals and advanced learners something new and at the same time make it as easy as possible for photography beginners to take part“ said Wolfgang Heinen, CEO of Berlin Photo Week GmbH.

Among this year’s highlights are the masterclasses, organised by Magnum Photos, the famous photo agency, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary at the BERLIN PHOTO WEEK. Over a period of two days and under the supervision of Magnum’s senior professionals Alex Majoli and Bieke Depoorter, the focus will be on portfolio reviews. These will take place in groups, with participants receiving genuine feedback, along with photo project discussions. Portfolio reviews with such outstanding photographers are an excellent opportunity to receive a professional opinion on one’s own photo projects. In short, the two days of Magnum masterclasses with Bieke Depoorter and Alex Majoli will take one’s own photographic skills to another level.
