Google Photos adds access to Popsa, direct uploads from Canon

Google Photos made two announcements this week expanding the usability of its partner program services. First, the company announced Popsa, the U.K. photo printer, was added to the “Works With Google Photos” program. Popsa users can use the power of Google Photos to organize and to find photos, and then make photobooks.

In other Google Photos news, Canon devices can now upload directly to Google Photos over WiFi. With the latest version of the image.canon app for Android or iOS and a compatible Canon camera, users can choose to automatically transfer original quality photos directly to Google Photos (via smartphone). The image.canon app also sends photos to Google Drive, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Flickr.
