Report: Nikon to end SLR production in Japan this year

Nikon Corp. will end the production of DSLRs at its affiliate Sendai Nikon Corp.’s facility by the end of this year, according to The Japan Times. Sendai Nikon, located in Natori, Miyagi Prefecture, is the only Nikon manufacturing base for DSLRs in Japan.
