Nations Photo Lab launch of new Memory Book coincides with Alzheimer’s benefit

Memory Book

Nations Photo Lab launched Custom Memory Books in the fourth quarter to coincide with a fundraising campaign for the Alzheimer’s Association. The Maryland-based lab normally donates a portion of its fourth-quarter holiday-card sales to a charity, says Lisa Foreman, director of marketing, Nations Photo Lab. This year, however, the charitable campaign coincided with the launch of a new product, the Custom Memory Book. The book, featuring archival-quality pages with space for large photos and captions, and a premium, customizable hardcover, are designed to aid in memory stimulation. All proceeds of Custom Memory Book sales benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

As part of its partnership, Nations Photo Lab ran a promotion to give away 50 free books.

Foreman says the nature of the photo business makes the connection to memory care a natural one. This is the first time Nations has tied its charitable activities to a product launch, she added, but this cause resonated with the Nations team. “We look forward to having a long-standing relationship,” said Foreman.
