The Portrait Masters Conference live-streams Product Expo, adds direct purchasing

Thanks to Digital Product Studio (DPS), an innovative developer of highly advanced education platforms that help the Internet’s best and brightest instructors interact with their students in ways never before possible, The Portrait Masters Conference + Expo is reinventing how manufacturers can participate in trade expos. As a “boutique” conference with 600 attendees, The Portrait Masters Conference offers manufacturers a great atmosphere for casual conversation with attendees while giving them access to thousands of potential customers via the Internet, for a fraction of the cost of traditional conventions or expos.

More than 50 manufacturers of cameras, lenses, software, and accessories will be on hand to demonstrate their newest products and services throughout the three-day conference. Adobe, Canon, Nikon, Sony, Sigma, and Tamron are among the companies who will display their latest imaging technologies. In addition, a special staging area will be established for manufacturers to speak directly to online viewers to share information and features about select products and services. Through a special link, online viewers will be able to place orders directly through B&H Photo’s website and take advantage of special discount offers during the conference.

“The Portrait Masters Conference offers a glimpse of what future conventions and trade shows might look like,” explains George Varanakis, co-founder of Digital Product Studio. “By limiting the number of attendees, we are creating an environment that encourages learning and open dialogue. By incorporating advanced Internet and streaming technologies, we are able to give photographers everywhere an opportunity to experience what’s going on and even order products and services in real-time.”

Among the manufacturers scheduled to exhibit their products and services include:

  • Acrylic, Adobe, Animoto, Bay Photo
  • B&H Photo, Canon, Elinchrom, Graphi
  • Hahnemuhle, Hoodman, Innova, Mac Group
  • Millers, Nikon, Oliphant, QT Albums
