CEWE Innovation Days 2025

Around 1,000 employees from across Europe came together for the CEWE Group‘s Innovation Days in Oldenburg on Feb. 19 and 20. The company said the focus was on numerous ideas for new products and processes, which were jointly evaluated, discussed and further developed. As an important part of the strategy and corporate culture, innovations have always been an important driver of CEWE’s development – from analog photography to today’s possibilities of artificial intelligence.

“All of our innovations focus on our consumers,” said Yvonne Rostock, CEO, CEWE Group. “We look at the entire value chain – from product design to production, shipping and support from our customer service.” CEWE speaks of around 4,000 innovators who work in the company, many of whom took part in the internal event: whether employees from production, marketing or controlling, managing directors or apprentices – all colleagues – regardless of their position and field of activity – exchanged ideas on site and used the opportunity to expand their contacts.

CEWE has mastered several transformations in the past thanks to its innovative strength. The current focus is on artificial intelligence, which is changing many processes in everyday professional and private life, the company said.

“Such a transformation is only possible thanks to a strong team in which each and every individual plays a significant role. It is important that the company actively drives the change instead of letting itself be carried along,” adds Rostock.

To achieve this, it is important that changes are seen as an opportunity – as a way to grow. Cyriel Kortleven, a Belgian motivational speaker, author, and trainer specializing in creativity, innovation, and change, was a guest speaker, declaring:”Don’t mind the change, change your mind,” he emphasized. In other words: When you are faced with challenges, it often helps to change your perspective and look at things differently.”
