German software developer ip.labs GmbH is commemorating its 20th anniversary this year. Founded in 2004 by German tech investor and serial founder Frank Thelen in the tranquil town of Bad Godesberg in Germany, the start-up quickly went from pioneer to world market leader in this field and, in 2008, became a wholly owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM.

Today, ip.labs says it is a leading SaaS provider of web2print white-label solutions in the B2B segment and offers a comprehensive range of solutions for printing and online providers of photo products. The ip.labs portfolio includes editors for photo products, ranging from simple greeting cards to complex products such as individually designed photo books. In addition, ip.labs offers its business customers tools to sell photo products, such as interfaces, design, and production tools for e-commerce and print shops. Since the future lies in the cloud, ip.labs also has solutions in this area.

With 20 years of ip.labs and 90 years of FUJIFILM, the company says it is celebrating 110 years of photo imaging expertise but, above all, 110 years of successful transformation.

“I would like to thank the entire ip.labs team. We can be proud of what we have achieved over the last 20 years,” says Yuji Hara, CEO. “It is a great honor to be part of this innovative company and its success story. We are all looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that the future holds.”
