Nikon teases new mirrorless system with microsite

Nikon has teased a look at it’s rumored new mirrorless system (which we hope is better received than the recently discontinued Nikon Series 1 system) with a microsite here. The company has long promised a full-frame mirrorless system, and with 2018 being a photokina year, the timing could be right.

Tetsuro Goto, Director of Laboratory Research and Development at Nikon, last fall revealed to the Chinese website Xitek in an inteview:, ‘full frame is the trend […] if Nikon will go mirrorless it must be full frame,’ the writing has been on the wall for some time.
