Photo Finale updates platform to 15.5

Photo Finale announced the release of version 15.5 including updates of PF Web/Kiosk, Lab 50 Services, UploadToKiosk, myLab, PaymentServices, and API3. Highlights include: 

  • Improvements to the EasyLink Mobile Upload provide a smoother process for customers who needed more time to choose their photos.
  • The streamlined makes the payment and checkout process to make checkout faster.
  • Stripe payment gateway was upgraded and QuickPay, a new option for UK and EU dealers that supports a number of regional payment methods, was added. As well, dealers using Authorize.NET can now execute order refunds from within myLab (as you can already do with Stripe).
  • Carrier info is now displayed on the Order Status page, package delivery notifications have been turned off for orders shipped via UPS Mail Innovations due to the high frequency of incorrect tracking and delivery data, and a shipped package is now shown as “Shipped” rather than “Delivered” on the Order History page.
  • Thumbnails are now bigger on mobile, users can tap/click to enlarge images on the Prints screen, and customers’ applied cropping adjustments are now previewed live in the thumbnails on the Cart page.

New DIY Studio Video for Father’s Day

A new DIY Studio Video was posted this week. In it, Erin Manning shows off some tips for taking pics of kids. Visit the Software & Downloads section of myLab to download 15-second promo clips for both videos, sized perfectly for social media posts. Both the Kids and Grads marketing kits also include graphics that are easy to customize with retailer promotions.
