Photoroom acquires GenerateBanners, launches Visual Ads Automation

Photoroom, the world’s most-used AI photo editor for e-commerce, today launches Visual Ads Automation, a first-to-market GenAI solution that turns entire product catalogs into fully branded ad creatives—ready for every channel and format.

This launch is supported by the strategic acquisition of GenerateBanners, a startup specializing in automated image generation with precision text layout. This marks Photoroom’s first acquisition and follows its $43 million Series B fundraise, bringing the company’s total funding to $64 million. GenerateBanners’ technology is now integrated to Photoroom API.
