Prohibition agency continues marketing campaign for CEWE UK
According to Prolific North, U.K. agency Prohibition has won the competition to handle the UK PR marketing for Germany-based photo printing giant CEWE:
The Leeds agency’s consumer retail division will handle the account, which includes the creation and development of the brand’s first-ever national television ad.
“We first worked with Prohibition on our 2018 Christmas project, and were seriously impressed by their innovative approach to digital communications,” said Clare Moreton, Digital Marketing Director at CEWE. “The integrated campaign they delivered for us was very KPI focussed and it helped us to increase our year-on-year sales. We’re extremely excited about this year for the CEWE brand in the UK and we are looking forward to seeing how these new communications campaigns are welcomed by our customers this Christmas.”
Prohibition will also manage media relations, content development, and an influencer relationship program, in partnership with its in-house team, according to the article.
“CEWE is a huge international brand in Europe – it is absolutely massive in Germany and we are really relishing the opportunity to help them increase their brand exposure right here in the UK. Last year was good to start in getting some kind of traction for the brand but now we are hoping that this year will be even better with heaps of clever ideas being put into practice by the account team,” added Chris Norton, Managing Director at Prohibition.
Earlier this year, Prohibition worked with CEWE in the Life in Colour campaign, which provided five lucky winners with a fully restored color photo by renowned photo restoration artist James Paterson.
