Scripps News is expanding its partnership with the travel photography series “Photowalks” and the show’s host, journalist Jefferson Graham. Throughout the series, Graham takes viewers on a visual journey to the world’s most photographable places through the lens of Graham’s smartphone. The half-hour travel show was renewed for 30 new episodes, which run every Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on Scripps News.
Each episode features Graham exploring iconic locations, offering viewers a virtual photowalk experience while sharing valuable tips on capturing professional-quality vacation photos using just a smartphone. “Photowalks” is one of the only streaming television series produced entirely with mobile technology, including iPhones, Galaxy phones, GoPros, and the Insta360 cameras.
The initial six-episode run, which began on Oct. 5, 2024, showcased various destinations, such as the Oregon Coast, Los Angeles, New Mexico, Sicily, and Japan. For the second season of the show on Scripps, “Photowalks” is headed to San Francisco, Savannah, Zion National Park, Portugal, France, and British Columbia, among others.
“I’m beyond thrilled to start a second season of Photowalks shows on Scripps News,” says Graham. “I love Scripps News’ mission and the honor of sharing the beauty of the world through my phone lens with Scripps News viewers. As part of the expanded partnership, Graham will appear frequently on Scripps News’ morning programming presenting features in travel and technology.
“Jeff is a dynamic, talented journalist who offers our viewers a chance to engage and escape,” said Matt Simon, vice president of Scripps News. “From his experience as a columnist for USA TODAY to his “Talking Tech” web series to the Photowalks companion newsletter, Jeff is a seasoned professional who elevates our programming.”
Scripps News is carried on all major streaming platforms and services. It is also available on mobile with the Scripps News app and online at ScrippsNews.com.
