Available in two styles, ProMaster Photo Gloves are a must-have item for photographers who create images in cold weather.
FAIRFIELD, CT – August 30, 2019: ProMaster, a leading brand in high-quality accessories for still photography and videography, began shipping its 2019 assortment of Photo Gloves to retailers in the United States and Canada this week. Labor Day weekend – long regarded as the end of the summer selling season by clothing outfitters – is a time when many camera stores start promoting the items that help photographers enjoy their hobby in colder months.
ProMaster Photo Gloves are offered in two styles. The Knit Photo Gloves (US $29.95) are designed for cool weather use. Their soft, flexible feel makes them perfect for a cool fall afternoon. The 4-Layer Photo Gloves (US $39.95) are wind- and water-resistant. With thicker insulation, these gloves keep your hands the warmest when taking photos in very cold, snowy weather.
Both styles of Photo Gloves have a non-slip coating on the palm and the finger, which facilitates a secure grip of the camera. A special, touchscreen-friendly material has been applied to the tip of the index finger. This enables a photographer to operate the touchscreen on their camera or phone while keeping their hands warm. For a more tactile experience, the thumb and index fingertips fold back—and are held out of the way by integrated magnets—allowing more precise control of the camera controls. Both styles are available in six sizes (XS to XXL.)
“Cold weather shouldn’t stop you from taking photos. In fact, some of the most captivating images come about in the winter months,” said Mike C. Northrup, ProMaster’s Director of Sales. “ProMaster Photo Gloves help keep photographers warm, so they don’t miss a single shot.”
These Photo Gloves are the latest entry in ProMaster’s collection of cold weather photography gear. The best-selling XC-M tripod collection is cold weather rated to operate in temperatures as low as 4° F (-15° C), while the GH30C Professional Carbon Fiber Gimbal Head (US $ 349.95) is cold weather rated to operate in temperatures as low as -13° F (-25° C.)
