Erin Manning wins second Silver Telly Award
Erin Manning Media announced its DIY Studio videos were named Best Series in Online Education and Discovery in the 42nd Annual Telly Awards. The prestigious Silver award is the second for Erin Manning, a well-known photo-educator and presenter, and the 20th Telly Award in her career.
The DIY Studio series features Manning providing clear and engaging tips to consumers for everyday photo situations like photographing kids, taking couples self-portraits, capturing images of your pet and many more. The videos are distributed via client Photo Finale for the benefit of its hundreds of photo retail customers around North America. Dealers running Photo Finale’s brandable website platform for photo product ordering can have the exclusive video content added to their sites.

97-year-old Topeka retailer, Wolfe’s Camera, to close
Wolfe’s Camera Shop, a mainstay in downtown Topeka, Kan., for 97 years, is closing, according to published reports. Harold B. Wolfe, the uncle of current owner Mike Worswick, started the business in 1924, where it has been a staple of the city’s downtown ever since. The store had a strong regional following. DeWitt Harkness, Wolfe’s president, told CJ Online the store doesn’t yet have a firm closing date, but he is certain the longtime Topeka staple won’t be open past the end of July
