MAC Group makes more personnel announcements
Photo/video distributor MAC Group made several more personnel announcements this week, following those made last week.
Kevin Aamodt is joining MAC Group as the X-Rite Brand Champion and Lead Technical Support for all of the current X-Rite product line. He will be responsible for technical support, training, software and hardware testing, as well as advising on new product development going forward. He will be based in Muskegon, Mich. He joins MAC Group after 20 years at X-Rite, where his early years at X-Rite were spent as Product Champion for all Dental and Medical products, as well as the Photo Lab densitometers. In his last 10 years at X-Rite, he focused on color management tools for the photo and printing markets.
With the continued growth of the Nanlite brand, MAC Group is adding a Digital Marketing Strategist. Sam Mallery joins the Nanlite Team at MAC Group where he will be responsible for developing the digital marketing strategy for Nanlite USA. For the past six years, he was in charge of marketing at Zone Five Software, makers of a fitness-tracking platform for endurance sports. Prior to that, he was the manager of publishing at B&H, leading a team of designers, editors, and strategists who were responsible for the B&H Explora blog. During his 11-year tenure at B&H, he also worked in content strategy, on social media teams, and served as a technical expert.
Julio Quintanilla rejoins MAC Group to run the Parts Department. Prior, he served as Service Manager for Sigma Corp. of America, and before that he was the Service Supervisor and Inventory Specialist at Phase One which specialized in high-end digital camera systems. He originally joined the MAC Group when it was founded in 1988.
