merchOne, the Europe-based POD fulfillment platform that is part of The Customization Group (TCG), is launching operations in the United States, to make customized on-demand wall art more accessible to ecommerce entrepreneurs.
With fulfillment centers in Miami, Florida, and Phoenix, Arizona, the company offers a range of print-on-demand wall art with fast delivery times, usually within 2-3 more days of orders. TCG is trusted by major organizations such as Aldi, Lidl, and Fressnapf. The company has been in the POD business for more than 18 years.
The range of customizable products makes it possible for businesses to offer one-of-a-kind products and easily enter the personalized gift market, which was valued at $32.1 billion in 2023 and continually growing. The AI-enabled product configurator makes it possible to develop multiple variants for designs, and thus find best-selling designs, faster. Whereas the company’s exceptionally short production times – 48 hours on average, even during the high season – allow sellers maximize their sales around gift-giving holidays, the company said.
“We know how important base price is for e-commerce entrepreneurs selling print-on-demand products, so we’re committed to offering the best price-performance for wall art – our specialty,” says Philipp Muehlbauer, CEO of merchOne. “This is to help our clients maximize profits on every sale. And no less important – we guarantee extended cut-off dates around holidays. During peak seasons, this can add up to 3 extra days for taking orders. Our business is all about helping e-commerce sellers increase their profits. This is also why merchOne’s key focus is personalized wall art instead of apparel. Wall art has high perceived value and low return rates, which makes it a highly profitable product to sell.”
Until now, merchOne has operated predominantly in the European market, helping companies develop and fulfill product orders and generate over $300 million in revenue. The service, with no minimum orders and fully automated fulfillment, lends itself well to e-commerce entrepreneurship but is intended for more advanced businesses to scale and grow their online retail business. All established customers are provided with a personal account manager for a smooth onboarding process and real-human support, a rarity in this age, the company said.
The platform offers a wide range of wall art products, including prints, canvas prints, metal prints, tapestries, framed photos, and more. Other products include mugs, blankets, rugs, etc., and accessories such as snow globe picture frames, miniblox acrylic photo cubes, calendars, photobooks, and more.
