Digiarty announces first iOS 12-compatible solution for iPhone-PC photo transfer
Digiarty Software announces world’s first iOS 12-compatible iPhone manager and provides three easy solutions to sync and transfer photos from iPhone to PC without depending on Apple iTunes
CHENGDU, CHINA (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 21, 2018 – Digiarty Software, a well-known developer of multimedia backup software, takes the lead in supporting the newest iOS 12 and iPhone Xs / iPhone Xs Max / iPhone XR for cross-device photo file transfer. It provides iDevice users with three different easy ways of transferring photos from iPhone to PC without Apple iTunes.
Photo transfer from iPhone to PC is traditionally done through iTunes, but most people want an alternative. “Is there a way to import photos from iPhone X to PC without iTunes? As much as I like Apple products, no matter how hard to like iTunes on Windows I still cannot stand the way iTunes tries to control your use of your media,” said an iOS and Windows user painfully. Clearly iPhone photo transfer without iTunes is needed and there are three easy ways.
1. Use WinX MediaTrans: a stand-alone iPhone file manager developed by Digiarty Software that requires no iTunes and the first in such kind to be compatible with both old iPhone and the newest iPhone 2018 running iOS 12. To be precise, it is by far the only software in the market that permits ditching iTunes and its components all together while transferring files between iOS devices and PC. It exports photos from iPhone to PC and vice versa selectively. Pictures in JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF and HEIC (HEIF) formats are all accepted. It can save HEIC photos to JPEG, and manages photos by day/month/year.

2. Use Windows Default Settings: AutoPlay on Windows 7, Photos on Windows 10
On Windows 7: After connecting iPhone to PC, an AutoPlay box will appear. Choose “Import pictures and videos”, adjust the location path or not, and then transfer all photos from iPhone to PC Windows 7. There is no option for selecting photo folders.
On Windows 10: Connect iPhone with Windows 10 and “Photos” app would pop up automatically. Remember to unlock photo to allow data access. After all photos are loaded, scroll down to select pictures and press “Import Selected” button.
3. Use iCloud: Compared with iTunes, iCloud is much better for iPhone photo backup. The whole backup process is done almost unconsciously anytime there is wireless network or when charging the phone. But there are limits like 5GB free backup storage. When a photo is deleted from iPhone, then it will also be removed from iCloud.
All the three ways are available to perform iPhone-PC photo transfer. But objectively, WinX MediaTrans should be the best option, as it gives users more control. It lets users to sort by albums or by dates, transfer photos selectively, and doesn’t set maximum limits on quantity and size.
