DNP Photo releases compact dye-sub printer
Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) introduced its the most compact and lightweight dye-sublimation printer on the market, the DNP QW410. The 13-lb QW410 photo printer features innovative print sizes and lay-flat functionality, ideal for photo booth operators, event photographers, and ID photo solutions, the company says, adding with a reduced power consumption of approximately 35 percent, professional photographers can easily run longer battery-powered operations.

Featuring a 4.5” print head, the printer’s electronics and mechanisms allow for many print sizes. The QHD 4.5×8-inch Pano Print media provides a unique print size, without the need for cropping for 16:9 high definition aspect ratio shots. This device is also equipped with a mechanism reducing the curl of the media, ensuring the best photo output. The QW410 offers a variety of print sizes including, 2×4”, 3×4”, 4×4”, 4×6” 4.5”x4.5”, 4.5×8” print sizes and more. It is iOS compatible with a wireless adapter.
