Upper Saddle River, NJ – April 30, 2019 – Manfrotto, the world leader in the photography, imaging equipment and accessories industry, presents the new 494 Center Ball Head with Round Disc. This fresh addition to the Center Ball Head family is designed with ergonomics in mind and dedicated to amateur photographers who are looking for a quick and easy framing experience.
The 494 model is a completely redesigned center ball head built to increase framing speed through intuitive controls and high sphere smoothness. This new model is particularly suited to amateur photographers who require gear that they can set up easily and rely on in any configuration. It is perfect for indoor studio or sports photography.
It features a round upper disc that acts as a universal attachment and ensures extreme solidity and grip between the 494 Center Ball Head and any medium-size mirrorless or DSLR camera.
With three independent controls, this new head allows for easy management of camera equipment and secure framing. The main knob and its integrated friction regulator guarantee full gear control for a smooth, easy framing experience. Along the opposite side of the ball head, the independent panoramic knob moves the head horizontally to control panoramic shots while keeping all of its other settings firmly locked.
This model secures up to 17.64 lb of photography equipment and the ball head itself weighs just 0.68 lb.
