Xiaomi debuts Xiaomi 15 Ultra with four Leica lenses

Chinese mobile handset leader Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 to the global market. These flagship devices boast powerful specifications, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with some subtle differences from their Chinese counterparts,
The main camera has a 50MP LYT-900 1-inch type sensor with a fixed f/1.63 lens. There are two zoom cameras – a 70mm f/1.8 backed by a 1/2.51-inch Sony IMX858 sensor, and the new 100mm f/2.6 telephoto with the 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HP9 sensor. Finally, the ultrawide camera has a 14mm f/2.2 lens with the 1/2.51-inch Samsung JN5 sensor. Up front, there’s a 21mm f/2.0 selfie camera with a 32MP sensor.
All four rear cameras capture 8K up to 30fps, while all cameras, selfie included, capture 4K up to 60fps – the main and 100mm telephoto cameras also do 4K up to 120fps.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra launches in China today. The 12/256GB model is CNY 6,499 (€854, £700, INR 78,000, $895), the 16/512GB model is CNY 6,999 (€920, £760, INR 84,000, $960), the 16GB/1TB model is CNY 7,799 (€1,025, £850, INR 93,600, $1,070), and it’s expected to expand to global markets on Sunday.
