Fujifilm introduces INSTAX SQUARE SQ1 Instant Camera

FUJIFILM North America Corp. launched the INSTAX SQUARE SQ1 instant camera, which creates INSTAX SQUARE format instant prints at 1.5 times the size of its INSTAX Mini counterparts.

“INSTAX SQUARE SQ1 combines everything our users love about the INSTAX Mini’s cool, modern style and functionality with the larger, vibrant output of our square format instant print film,” said Manny Almeida, President, Imaging Division, FUJIFILM North America Corporation. “We’re confident that INSTAX SQUARE SQ1 will fit right in with our creative, expressive user base and allow them to create compelling, new instant prints.”

INSTAX SQUARE SQ1 Features:

Automatic Exposure automatically senses the level of ambient light when the shutter button is pressed, and optimizes the shutter speed and flash output according to lighting conditions. “It allows even novice INSTAX users to take photos that are automatically properly exposed regardless of conditions, producing incredibly clear and vibrant instant prints on the spot,” Almeida continued.

One-Touch Selfie Mode works in conjunction with INSTAX SQUARE SQ1’s  built-in selfie mirror, designed specifically for selfies and close-up shots, setting the best focus and exposure for the shot by simply rotating the lens from ‘On’ to ‘Selfie’ mode.

New INSTAX SQUARE instant film options

Also accompanying the launch of INSTAX SQUARE SQ1 are two new INSTAX SQUARE instant film varieties:  INSTAX SQUARE Rainbow instant film and INSTAX SQUARE Monochrome instant film. INSTAX SQUARE SQ1 will be available in Terracotta Orange, Glacier Blue, and Chalk White in mid-October 2020 (late September in Canada), at an MSRP of $119.95 USD and $159.99 CDN.

INSTAX SQUARE Rainbow instant film and INSTAX SQUARE Monochrome instant film (each of which will be offered in 10-sheet packs) will be available mid-October 2020 at an MSRP of $14.99 USD, and $14.99 CDN for INSTAX SQUARE Monochrome/$15.99 for INSTAX SQUARE Rainbow.
