Hohem iSteady Pro 3 action camera gimbal for GoPro hero 8

Hohem released a third-generation action-camera gimbal iSteady Pro 3, designed specifically for action cameras. The $89 iSteady Pro 3 is designed for most action cameras in the market, such as GoPro Hero 8/7/6/5/4/3, DJI OSMO Action, Insta360 one R, SONY RX0, YI cam, Xiaomi Mijia, SJCAM and other action cameras with similar size and weight, the company said. The device is IPX4 splashproof and the built-in battery provides up to 12 hours of battery life.

The gimbal includes seven cinematic effects including:

  • 600°Rotational Inception Mode – Support users to create more than 360 degrees rotation.
  • Motion Timelapse – Set the track with a custom rotating angle, record heavy traffic on the street, and other frequency moving subjects.
  • POV – The first person point of view, shows users’ own perspective.
  • Sport Mode – Capture fast-moving subjects, such as skateboarding.
  • Pan Follow – Mostly used in shooting with a horizontal shift, such as running and street shooting.
  • Pan and Tilt Follow – Perfect for recording Vlog, and even film a blockbuster with rotation effect.
  • Lock – Suitable for maintaining a straight axis, such as straight orientation down a long corridor.
