MHP launches next-generation frame assembly machines

MHP brings over 25 years’ stretching experience to technologies that simply work for producers.

MHP Technology, the manufacturer of canvas stretching and frame assembly machines, launched a new generation of canvas frame assembly machines offering a broader range of wood types and profiles while enabling lightning-quick retooling, the company claims.

The PLUG frame assembly machine processes up to 40-plus tongue-and-groove stretcher bar frames per minute, the company said. The VPLUG assembles up to 21 frames per minute by underpinning four 45° mitered bars with v-nails. MHP has now adapted this technology to process many additional picture frame profiles.
