The Customization Group consolidates European production in Poland

The Customization Group (TCG) – formerly Picanova – announces further expansion of its newest production facility in Szczecin, Poland, which opened in 2019. As the lease term for the facility in Cologne, Germany, draws to a close, TCG management made the decision to consolidate its European production operations in Szczecin and seize production in Cologne. By doing so, the company will reduce overcapacity in Central Europe, leading to improved resource utilization and operational efficiency, the company said.. TCG will retain its headquarter office in Cologne and additionally serves its North American customers from two production facilities in the United States.

“As the pandemic has altered the way we live and work, TCG has been able to gain significant momentum and expand the business,” said the CEO of TCG Philipp Mühlbauer. “The expansion of our newest facility is a testament to our dedication to operational efficiency.”
